the jungle and see many kinds of animals such as monkeys, birds, toucans
and crocodiles.
Access: by
boat or plane. No road to Tortuguero.

and 3 hours by boat.

Day 1:
Early in the morning you will be taking a comfortable bus that will
transport you to Hamburgo, where the boat will take you through
the wonderful canals of Tortuguero National Park. At your hotel
you can join the expeditions to the waterways and beaches of this
beautiful and unspoiled National Park, where you will be able to
see monkeys, small crocodiles, sloths, iguanas, toucans, and many
other species. Tortuguero beaches are famous for the giant "green
turtles", which nest their eggs in the Caribbean sand. Overnight
at your hotel.
Day 2: Morning tour to Tortuguero Hill and afternoon visit
to the town of Tortuguero. At night, during the nesting time of
the green turtle, the guide will take you to the beach. Overnight
at your hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast, board the boat and depart for a 2-4
hour trip through the canals to the dock in Limon area. There, a
bus will meet you to drive you back to your hotel in San José.
