Day 1: Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica (BG)
Our bilingual guide will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at Grano de Oro Hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Tour: Coffee Tour & National Theater (B,L) (BG)
Early pick up at your hotel to take you the Coffee Tour where you will see coffee plantations, alive show and also be able to buy coffee at factory prices. Depart to San José to have lunch at Café Teatro Nacional located at our National Theater, a replica of the Opera of Paris. After lunch we will visit the Theater, elegant in its rich architectural detail, and considered San José’s most impressive public building. Overnight at Grano de Oro Hotel.

Day 3: Pacuare White Water Rafting (B,L) (RG)
The adventuresome beginner and the experienced rafter alike will be bewitched by the most beautiful river canyon in the tropics. Early morning pick-up at your hotel in San José. Drive for one hour passing through Cartago, the former capital of Costa Rica, then stop for breakfast. After an orientation and safety talk, proceed down the river. Picnic lunch on the river bank. River time: approximately 5 hours depending on the water level. Afternoon take-out in Siquirres and drive back to Guapiles for overnight. Overnight at Suerre Hotel.

Day 4: San Jose / Tortuguero (B,L,D) (BG)
Early morning pick up at your hotel for departure to Tortuguero. Stop for breakfast on the way. Lunch at Pachira Lodge. In the afternoon, relax in the swimming pool or explore the area with your guide. Overnight at Pachira Lodge.

Day 5: At Tortuguero (B,L,D) (BG)
This day, enjoy the narration of a guide who will help you to spot crocodiles, turtles and other tropical wildlife along the way to Tortuguero National Park, originally protected as a major nesting beach for the Atlantic Green Turtle. The Park preserves 21.000 hectares of tropical rainforest in its natural state. Silently paddling through the jungle lagoons and waterways, searching for wildlife and listening to "jungle sounds" make this experience memorable. After this, you will visit the town of Tortuguero and the Green Turtle Museum. Overnight at Pachira Lodge.

Day 6: Tortuguero / Arenal (BL) (BG)
After breakfast you will start the trip back to San José, transferred by boat and then by bus. Lunch is on the way. After lunch we will take you to Arenal . Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel.

Day 7: At Arenal (B) (BG)
After breakfast, hike to La Fortuna Waterfall. Free afternoon to relax or explore the area with your guide. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel.

Day 8: Arenal / Monteverde (B) (BG)
You will be transferred to Monteverde, one of the most exuberant Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. Overnight at Fondavela Hotel.

Day 9: At Monteverde (B) (BG)
Visit to the Cloud Forest Reserve with our guide. Overnight at Fondavela Hotel.

Day 10: Monteverde / San José (B) (BG)
Transfer back to San José. Overnight at Grano de Oro Hotel.

Day 11: Back Home (BG) (B)
You will be transferred to the Juan Santamaría International Airport approximately two hours before your flight's scheduled departure time.
